“The Grasshopper” are actually two real or brick shops. The Brussels shop is situated just off the Grand Place, in the centre of the city and is open every day of the year between 10 am and 7 pm (except for Xmas and New Years day). The Leuven shop is located close to the cathedral in the centre of the town and is open from Monday through Saturday from 10 am until 6 pm.

The first Grasshopper was founded in 1993 by a mother who loves toys and wanted to bring together quality toys, games, fun objects and childrens’ decoration items from all over the world. To find these and visit our 300 odd suppliers we travel 2 months a year and roam the world.

Our shops stock over 4000 different products so we cannot possibly put them all on our site. If you have seen something in our shops which caught your interest, you might drop us a line via e-mail.

Because of the location of our first shop in the center of Brussels (capital of Europe) we get customers from all over the world and quite a few of these customers keep on asking us about the possibility to buy online.
